She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Sams and Iula Stewart Sams; and her husband Joe Richey. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Beth; her son-in-law Jeff Baird of Albertville; her great grandchild Trevor Baird; her stepchildren, Julie of Attalla, Phil Myers of Attalla, Jeffry of Attalla and Donna Richey of Attalla; and her siblings, Wendell Sams of Holy Pond, Annie McCoy of Albertville, Jane Bates of Albertville and Evelyn Shirey of Guntersville.
