He was predeceased by: his parents, Hixie Jane Reynolds Young and Clarence L Young; and his granddaughter Kristin Young Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Harrell Young; his children, Donna Barnes (Roland), Rickey Young (Beverly) and Greg Young (Mona); his sister Mary Smith; and his grandchildren, Rachel Smedley, Gretchen Hill, Tyler Young, April Calloway and Bruce Barnes. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
