She was predeceased by: her husbands, Melvin Shaw and Loyd Gardner; her parents, Lloyd Strickland and Mary Belle Strickland; and her son David Lee Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Dooley (Dennis), Dianne Henderson (Ray) and Sherry Shaw Kelly (Rance); her daughter-in-law Sherri Brooks; her son Earl Shaw (Nonya); her siblings, Bonnie Robinson (Cecil), Robert Strickland (Arlene), Pete Strickland (Janice) and Harold Strickland; and her sister-in-law Mary Shaw. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
