She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Otinger; her daughter Carolyn Otinger; her parents, William Mauldin and Ethel Mauldin; her siblings, Janice Hamilton, Ruby Dover, Homer Mauldin, Hubert Mauldin, Elis Mauldin, Charles Mauldin and J. C. Mauldin; her grandson Travis Baird; and her great grandchild Andrew Eudy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diann Allen (Miller), Shirley Terrell (Rodney) and Cathy Batchelor (Tommy).
