She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Fossett and Corene Fossett (Bush); her husband Charles Grimes; her grandson LCpl David Miles; and her brothers, Neal Fossett and Billy Fossett.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Grimes (Deborah) and Pam Brady (Jim); her sister Bettye Fossett Street; her sisters-in-law, Joann Fossett and Sandra Grimes; her grandchildren, Jennifer Amos (John), Ben Grimes (Kayleigh) and Mary Fisher; her great grandchildren, Taylor Smith and Lexi Grimes; and her close friends, Jane Gordon and Bessie Webb.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
