He was predeceased by: his parents, Irby William Spence and Emma Cordelia Spence; and his brother David William Spence. He is survived by: his siblings, Joanne Underwood, Doris Bryant, Glenda Lemaster (William), Gary Lane (Kathy) and Frankie Spence; his aunts and uncles, Daniel Spence, Cecil Champion, Audrey Spence Hood and Dot Clemons (Rick); and his siblings' children, Terri Calhoun (Jay), Emily Pate (Jonathan), Josh Underwood (Cierra), Tabitha Horton (Adrian), Serena Lane, John Uptagraft, Zandra Lemaster, William Lemaster (Brittany), Megan Davis (Chris), Amy Spence, Irby Spence, Zachary Spence and Tiffany Spence. He is also survived by cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
