With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Smart of Albertville, Alabama, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Georgiana Conley Stanfield. She is survived by: her husband John Smart; and her children, Kristi Renfroe (Jonathan), Shannon Matthews (Jason), Josh Conley (Falyn), Christine Phillips (Rick) and Rachel Smart. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and another great-grandchild.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private memorial service will be held in Joyce's honor.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Shepherd's Cove Hospice or Snead State Community College.
