He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Murdock (Pete), Carol White (Aaron), Barbie Pointer (Phillip) and Regina Gregg (Todd); his sister Pennie Hillis (Harry); his grandchildren, Kevin Murdock (Cheyanna), Carlotta Lamar (Stanley), Holden Gregg, Hunter Pointer (Sabrina Jones), Taylor Turner (Noah), Reagan Terrell (Joseph), Bailey Pointer, Woodrow Malone (Rachel), Corinda Ickes and Kristie Murdock; and his great grandchildren, Kasey Murdock, Kai Murdock, Kam Murdock, Stacey Mae Lamar, Braxton Leeroy Lamar, James Turner, Gavin Allen and Maggie Allen.
