It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Jo Mitchell of Albertville, Alabama, born in Grant, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Arble and Idella Franks; her husband Irby Louis "Buddy" Mitchell; and her brothers, O. A. Franks, John Freeman Franks, Charles Franks, Lawrence Franks, Roy Franks and Ray Franks.

She is survived by: her sisters, Bobbie Clo Cowart, Bonnie Franks, Sally Franks, Cynthia Ann Mitchell and Mary Hugh Bouillion. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
