It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Jo Waldon Allen (Albertville, Alabama), who passed away on December 8, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Allen; her grandson John Pope; and her parents, Henry Waldon and Dollie Waldon. She is survived by: her children, Linda Swords (George) and Tim Allen (Paula); her grandchildren, Judy Saint, Tom Pope (Marsha), Paul Allen (Megan) and Andrew Allen (Breana); her great grandchildren, Brittany Childress, Madison Pope, Alexis Pope, Jade Brown, Slate Allen and Annalie Allen; her great great grandchildren, Adraina Childress and Zaileigh Breedlove; and her siblings, Opal Jean Dyer and Jimmy Walden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
