He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Parrish and Maude Parrish; his wife Louise Parrish; his grandson Jeremy Parrish; his sons-in-law, Johnny Gentle and David Nichols; and his siblings, Keith Parrish, Lois Parrish, Gly Sterling, Gladys Lyles, Hazel Gibbs, Doris Parrish and Sibyle Lang.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Gentle, Carol Nichols, Betty Lovvorn (John) and Spike Parrish (Evelyn). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will accept flowers, or donations can be made to Shepherd's Cove Hospice of Marshall County.
