He is survived by: his daughter Gloria Childress (Perry); his daughter-in-law Sandra Pierce; his grandchildren, Amanda Childress and Jason Childress; and his great grandchildren, Brittany McClendon (Ryan), Cody Dempsey and Lexi Childress. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
