He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gibson and Willie B. Gibson of Albertville; and his parents-in-law, L. D. and LaRue Akridge of Boaz. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Akridge Gibson; his sons, John and Brady Gibson; his grandchildren, Dallas, Zack and Kailey Gibson; and his sister-in-law Betty Akridge Delchamps of Birmingham.
