She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Jones Sampson and Tommy Ray Sampson; and her grandparents, Jim, Laeavie Jones, Verbon and Retta Light.
She is survived by: her son James Strickland; her granddaughters, Mackenzie, Jaylee and Willa; her sister Sandy Strickland (Glenn); and her nephews, Judd and Chris Guice. She is also survived by Three great nieces, and one great nephew.
