He was predeceased by : his parents, Alonza Clifford Prickett and Mary Sue Prickett; and his siblings, Betty McCain and Gene Prickett. He is survived by : his wife Adonis Virginia Prickett of Alexander City; his children, Tammy Mixon (Bob) of Greenville, AL and David Prickett (Christy) of Alexander City; his grandchildren, Evan Mixon, Ryleigh Mixon and Chloe Prickett; and his siblings, Glenda Peters of Auburn, Kathy Watts (Ricky) of Auburn, Jackie Prickett (Virginia) of Opelika and Wayne Prickett (Deborah) of Opelika.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
