We bid farewell to Charlotte Inez Scroggins of Alexander City, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Charlotte Inez touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughlett Linton Stewart and Myrtle Mae Mason Stewart; her husband Paul Vernon "Corky" Scroggins; her siblings, Hughlett Stewart, Falbie Bussey, Clara Whitehead, Sara Lindsey, Margaret Gertrude Sanford and Patricia Talton; and her stepgranddaughter Leslie Patterson Gaston.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Vernon Scroggins (Cindy) of Jackson's Gap and Jennifer Scroggins Spraggins (Tommy) of Alexander City; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Scroggins Craig (Alex) of Huntsville, Robert Scroggins of Alexander City, Lauren Spraggins Jennette (Matt) of Homewood and Jill Spraggins Hill (Ryan) of Auburn; her great grandchildren, Hudson Hill, Haynes Craig, Hannah Hill, Hollis Hill, Julia Jennette and Janie Jennette; her sister-in-law Eleanor Still; her stepgranddaughter Kaci Patterson Letts (Andrew); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Parker Ann Gaston, Caroline Letts, Drew Letts and Ellis Jennette.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
The family will receive flowers or donations may be made to the Comer Memorial Baptist Church, 341 E. Church Street, Alexander City, Alabama, 35010 or to one's favorite charity.
