He is survived by: his wife Darlene Yates of Alexander City; his daughters, Portia Worthy (Greg), Prudence Cheatham (Ronnie) and Page Bentley; his grandchildren, Dr. Allie Worthy, Cade Worthy, Alec Cheatham (Samantha), Abby Cheatham and Evan Bentley; his great grandchild Magnolia Cheatham; and his brother-in-law Milner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
