It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Lisenby Thompson of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Lisenby and Mary Baldwin Lisenby; and her siblings, Luther Lisenby, Jr., Jerry Lisenby and Peggy Thigpin.

She is survived by: her husband John Edgar Thompson of Alexander City; her sons, Shawn Thompson and Scott Thompson (Amy); and her grandchildren, Rene Thompson, Zachary Thompson and Wesley Thompson.
