She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schmeichel and Melanie Schmeichel; and her sister Carmen Scherbert. She is survived by: her husband Michael Jerry Patton; her sons, James Edward Yaeger (Yunana) and Michael Allen Yaeger; her grandchildren, Dylan Edward Yaeger and Aspen Marie Yaeger; and her siblings, Slyvia Diehl, Dianna Gruntahl, Vofker Schmeichel, Karl-Heinz Schmeichel, Klaus Schmeichel and Wolfgang Schmeichel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
