With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lamar Knox Sr. of Aliceville, Alabama, born in Dadeville, Alabama, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his son Ronny Vann Knox; his siblings, Blanche Jinks, Jenelle West and Rush Earnest Knox; and his parents, Rush Earnest Knox, Sr. and Virginia Walls Knox.
He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Corprew Knox of Aliceville; his son Richard Lamar Knox, Jr. (Susan) of Collinsville, MS; his grandsons, Brian Knox (Sara Wray) of Louisville, MS and Daniel Knox (Sara Fitzgerald) of Collinsville, MS; and his great grandchildren, Georgia, Cora, Mollie and Russ.
