He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Carson Lee; his brothers, James Gardner "Jimmy" Lee II and Joseph Albert "Joe" Lee, Sr.; and his parents, John Edward Lee, Sr. and Juanita Stallings Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Edwards (Jeff), Lauri Minor (Donny) and William S. "Billy" Lee, Jr.; his brother John Edward Lee, Jr. (Marie); his grandchildren, Carson Minor (Laura) and Callie Giesbrecht (Craig); and his great grandchildren, John Alan Giesbrecht and Levi James Giesbrecht.
