It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Ragsdale (Allgood, Alabama), who passed away on November 8, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jeweldey Ragsdale; his parents, Emmett Ragsdale and Elmer McCay Ragsdale; his grandson Joshua Haynes; his siblings, Ellan Cobb (John) and Mary T. Ragsdale; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Smith and Frank Buckner.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Weems (Donnie), Vickie Haynes (Roland), Sharon Bussey (Larry) and Doyle Ragsdale (Jill); his grandchildren, Jeremy Weems (Nicole), Ariel Fountain (Jason), Alissa Haynes, Jared Bussey, Chance Hewitt (Sierra), Ian Hewitt (Kayla), A. J. Ragsdale and Eli Ragsdale; and his siblings, Arthur Ragsdale (Pat), Hazel Smith and Lillian Buckner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
