She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hand and Jonett Hand; her siblings, Johnny Mac Hand, Joyce Hand Estes (Kenneth), Rebecca Hand Clem (Joey) and Brenda Sue Hand; her siblings-in-law, Donald Williamson Avant, Jr., Billy Murphy and Elizabeth Childress Thompson (Harold); and her grandson William Kenneth Avant.
She is survived by: her husband Randall Kenneth Avant, Sr.; her children, Crystal Avant Eller (Mitchell), Randall Kenneth Avant, Jr. (Ashley) and Christopher David Avant; her sisters, Bobbie Jackson (Edward Jones), Rachel Presley (Mickey) and Diana Brumblow (Edward); her brothers-in-law, Ronald Avant (Cathy), Joey Childress (Rori) and Anthony Childress (Debra); and her grandchildren, Kierstyn Perry, Isleigh Hicks, Andrew Hicks and Zachary Avant.
