We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2021, at the age of 97, Edward Worthy Clifton of Altoona, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his son Edward Brent Clifton; his great grandchild Jack Edward Sligh; and his parents, Wheeler Clifton and Vesta Clifton. He is survived by : his daughters, Dawn Cone (Charlie) and Rhonda Rogers (Tony); his grandchildren, Dr. Allison Cone Sligh (Chip), Rev. Christopher Cone, Dr. Angela Clifton (Kyle McCann), Joshua Rogers (Jenna) and Melody Rogers Hopper (Dan); his friend Dianne Hilburn Cowan; and his wife Imogene Phillips Clifton.
We will celebrate his life and invite you to join us with face masks at your comfort level on Friday, October 29, 11 a. m. at Morgan Funeral Home, Attalla, Alabama.
