She was predeceased by : the father of her children Joseph Clark Harrelson; her husband Doc Ballard; her daughter Sandy Norris; and her siblings, Dorothy Bradley, Marie Fuqua, Betty Wambles, Jimmy C. Taylor and Billy Taylor.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Kerrigan, Bob (Denise Harrelson) and David (Mary Nell Harrelson). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
