He was predeceased by : his wife Doris Annette Johns; his son Russell Johns Jr.; and his siblings, John Thomas Johns, Willie Ben Johns, Annie Mae Ryals and Mable Jewel Taylor.
He is survived by : his children, Kenneth Alpha Johns (Kim) of Andalusia, AL, Gwen Sightler (Ricky) of Andalusia, Sarah Thorne (Rick) of Phenix City, AL, Patsy Stinson (Bruce) of Andalusia, AL and Nancy O'Rourke (Sean) of Andalusia, AL. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren, And Great Great Grandchildren.
