She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Barreras and Maria Barreras; her husband Manuel R. Montoya; her granddaughters, Rebecca Lucero and Lydia Montoya; her great grandchild Daniel Aguirre; her brothers, Ramon Barreras and Manuel Barreras; and her sons-in-law, Aristeo Lucero, Henry Ogas, Jr., Richard Montoya, Joseph Montoya, Gabriel Ogas, Aaron Dominguez, Gilbert Dominguez and Tommy Castillo.
She is survived by : her children, Ermilo Montoya (Irene), Elisa Lucero, Fernando Montoya (Fidela), Maria Oralia Ogas, Jose Montoya and Eufelia Melendez. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
