She is survived by: her children, Rick Merz (Diane), David Merz (Debbie), Christine Becker (Terry), Mary Ellen Soctomah (Harvard) and Liz Crabtree (Scott); her grandchildren, Eric Merz, Emily Merz, Melissa Breehne (Ryan), Brian Merz (Hope), Katlyn Strezeski (Michael), Kurt Becker, Katherine Hornschemeier (Joshua), Joseph Becker, Joshua Landers, Rachael Wolf (Kevin), Hannah Crabtree and Zachary Crabtree (Emily); her great grandchildren, Ian and Andrew; and her siblings, Joseph Westhoff, Paul Westhoff, Jane Schmidt, John Westhoff and Elizabeth Pavone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
