He was predeceased by: his parents, S. T. McDaniel and Josephine Putnam McDaniel; Phil, Nina McDaniel, Willie H. Putnam and Ruthie Waits Putnam.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Patricia Dew Schmidt; his wife Tissie Dew McDaniel; his cousin Ruthie Putnam Protsman; his children, Tom, Sharon Muller, Steven and Kimberly McDaniel; and his grandchildren, Lindsey McDaniel and Garrett McDaniel.
The family plans on having a gathering to celebrate Dwayne's life at a later date when everyone can socialize safely without concerns of Covid exposure and restrictions.
