He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Morris and Bessie Morris; his daughter Julie; and his siblings, Senator, Ora-Belle, Daisy, Willie, Edward, Hazel and Felix.
He is survived by: his children, Terri, Hope, John and Scott (Alena); his grandchildren, Tempeste, Erin, Tyla, Taej-Ari, Michael, Rian, Asia, Amir, Jozzy, Joy, Caleb and Elisha; and his great grandchildren, Ahmari, Michael, Tiera, Jada, Journee, Evan, Alaysia, Assante, Terrance, Kobi and Kaylynn. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
