He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ruth Prater Moore; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Bell Prater. He is survived by: his son Brian Maurice Moore; his grandchildren, William Trevor Moore and Lauren Katherine Moore; his sisters, Sarah Ruth Tolbert and Shirley Sewell; his siblings-in-law, Fred Prater and Frances Prater; and his friend Darrell Wallace, Jr..
