He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Borders Whitten; his children, Ted (Lynne Whitten) and Mechele (Martin Worthington); his grandchildren, Peyton Whitten, Presley Whitten, Melissa Worthington and Meghan (Andy Street); his great grandchildren, Silas Worthington and Mackenzie; and his sister Janice (Robert Scheitlin). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
