She was predeceased by: her husband Al Batchelor; her daughter Sheilah Diane Batchelor; her parents, Asa Hightower and Pairlee Hightower; and her siblings, Palmer Hightower, Levoid Hightower, Rethal Hightower and Laverne Hightower.
She is survived by: her children, Venita Batchelor Toney (Glenn) of Anniston, AL and Michael Batchelor (Stephanie) of Tuscaloosa, AL; her grandchildren, Randall Toney (Jamie), Ashley Toney (Quintin Blackmon), Whitney Johnson (Sean), Kristin Jones (Jake) and Peyton Batchelor; her great grandchildren, Levi Toney, Evan Toney, Sadie Brooke, Sydney Johnson and Luke Johnson; her brothers, Leon Hightower and Trillis Hightower (Sandra); and her sisters-in-law, Sarah Helen Thacker, Betty Hightower, Dot Hightower, Maxine Commeens, Gail Cagle and Joyce Whitehead. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
