He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorell Cherry and Dorothy Mae Singletary Cherry; and his brothers, Carey Cherry, James Cherry and Barney Cherry.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Lee Fenn; his children, Callie Odom (Dustin) of Dothan, Kala Carr (Shawn) of Dothan, Tara Britto (Josh) of Dothan, John Buie (Nichole) of Destin, FL, Herndon Buie (Tonya), Ryan Cherry (Courtney), Ethan Perdue (Brittney) and Tommy Knight (Ashleigh) of Navarre Beach, FL; his brothers, Rick Cherry (Regenia) of Greenwood, FL and Alan Cherry (Terri); his sister-in-law Traci Bryan (Keith); and his mother-in-law Jane Fenn of Louisville, AL.
