It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James David Brock Jr. (Ashville, Alabama), born in Rockledge, Florida, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Christie Brock; his son Cody Brock; his siblings, Alton Whatley, Harold Whatley, William Whatley and Mena Gonzales; his children, Britany Gargone (George), Nichole Martin (David), Michelle Brock, Dakota Brock and Hunter Brock; his siblings, Freda Hinzman (Carroll), Dawn Bufford, Melonie Dean (Danny), Susan Minolfo and Antonio Brock (Joana); his parents, James David Brock Sr. and Eileen Gwaltney; his children, Antonio, Susan, William, Harold, Alton, Mona, Freda and David O'Neal Brock (Morgan); his grandchildren, Dakota Brock and Hunter; his brothers, Lynn and Bryan; his grandchildren, Lynn Thomas, Bryan Harris, Terry Mintz, William Bryant, Jacob Brown, Chris Brown, Mikey Cantrell and Jamie McGinnis; and his brother Greg Ashley. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and loving family and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Ashville Church of God (605 Pioneer Rd. 75149).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his grandson, Hunter Brock.
