He was predeceased by: his parents, James Looney and Ozell Emerson Looney; and his sister Sue Lovell. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Looney; his grandchildren, Nicholas Looney (Magen), Briana McConnell (Caleb), Sophia Looney and Zane Looney; his great grandchildren, Reese Looney, River Looney and Wynn David McConnell; and his siblings, Jackie Looney (Debbie) and Judy Looney.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Comfort Care Hospice.
