With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oaklene Juanita Ransom of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Tucker and Velma Harbinson Tucker; her husband Clarence Ransom; her son Tony Ransom; and her son-in-law Gary Stewart.

She is survived by : her children, Davie Ransom (Judy) and Phillis Stewart; and her grandchildren, Daniel Ransom, Nathan Ransom, David Ransom (Heather), Natalie Stewart and Beth Smith (Brock). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
