It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald James Varnagatas Jr. of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Ronald James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald James Varnagatas, Sr. and Sandra Kay Varnagatas; and his brother Michael Victor Varnagatas. He is survived by: his wife Donna Wright Bridges Varnagatas; his daughter Jill Marie Varnagatas; and his brother Scott William Varnagatas.
