He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Philyaw; and his siblings, Jessie Philyaw, Emmett Philyaw and Mary Pugh. He is survived by: his children, Tracie Merritt (Al) of Gulf Shores, AL, Terry Philyaw (Colleen) of Horseneck, Jennifer Philyaw of Horseneck, Brian O'Neil Philyaw (Ashley) of Foley, AL, Katie Philyaw of Horseneck, Emma Ammons (Ward) of Horseneck, James Philyaw of Horseneck and Lisa Bradshaw (Mike) of Robertsdale, AL; and his sister Essie Mae Rayborn of Hroseneck. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Community Holiness Church Building Fund, 19520 Clara Mae Smith Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
