He was predeceased by: his parents, Littles McGhee and Ellen Colbert McGhee; his wife Atrebee "Bootee" Dees McGhee; his son Stephen McGhee; and his granddaughter Rhonda Kay McGhee.
He is survived by: his children, Gilbert McGhee (Mary) of Walnut Hill, FL, Carl Farron "Fay" McGhee of Poarch, AL, Robert McGhee (Annette) of Saraland, AL, Glenn McGhee (Billie) of Pensacola, FL, Larry E. McGhee of Poarch, AL, Harold McGhee (Lynna) of Brewton, AL and Sandra Chunn (Larue) of Theodore, AL.; and his sister Thelma Henson of Frost Proof, FL. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; ten great- great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
