He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Gibson and Ida Gibson; his wife AtriceBea Gibson; and his siblings, Janette Taylor, Bernice Defoe, Hubbard Gibson and Otis Gibson.
He is survived by: his pet Football Fan; his children, Donnie Gibson (Tiffany) of Waynesboro, GA, Greg Gibson (Sylvia) of Atmore, AL and Joy Bernice Gibson of Huxford, AL; his brothers, Jerry Gibson (Connie) of Middletown, IN, Ricky Gibson of Atmore, AL, Tony Gibson of Poarch, AL and Larry Gibson of Poarch, AL; and his grandchildren, Blake Moye, Olivia Gibson, Caitlyn Gibson, Presley Gibson, Michaela Kirsch, Lilliana Bea Gibson and Alexander William Gibson. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
