He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Ann; his parents, George McLeod and Mertice; his brother William "Bill" Scogin; and his nephew Billy.
He is survived by: his children, Mike (Johnna) of Georgetown, KY, Becky Hetrick of Crestview, FL, Gail Young (Park) of Walnut Hill, FL and Cindy Harigel (Sean) of Pace, FL; and his grandchildren, Stephen Hetrick (Ashleigh), Ashley Long (Thomas), James Scogin, Paxton Davis and Katherine Scogin. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
