He is survived by: his fiancée Melanie Adams of Atmore, AL; his children, James Bethea (Wendy) of Rockwell, NC, Jason Hicks of Mobile, AL, Tammy Porter (Jamie) of Southport, NC and Jennifer Bethea of Bridgeport, AL; and his siblings, Dewey Bethea of Atmore, AL, Thomas Bethea (Sue) of Ruskin, FL and Eunice Sutter of Pace, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
