He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Hall and Clydie Brewer Hall; his wives, Naomi Stewart Hall and Pat James Hall; and his siblings, Elizabeth Reid, Ila Fuller, Nola Wise, Jimmie Johnson, Jean Miller, Earl Hall, Ray Hall, Gwinn Hall and Gary Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Gayle Hanks (Michael) and James Hilton Hall, Jr. (Alice); his sister Joyce Hollingsworth; his children-in-law, Michael Hanks of Atmore and Alice Hall of Atmore; his granddaughter Tabitha Frazier (Mason) of Birmingham; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Anna Beth and Barrett; his grandson Cory Hanks (Courtney) of Auburn; his great grandchildren, Naomi, Miriam and Taylor; his grandchild Shannon Chisler (Nick); his great grandchildren, Logan and Lorelei; his grandson Justin Hall (Ashley); his great grandchild Stanley; and his grandsons-in-law, Mason Frazier, Nick Chisler, Ross Parham and Jerry Poulsen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
