It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Clark Perkins of Atmore, Alabama, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Marie Perkins; his parents, John Perkins and Rosie Perkins; his grandson Thomas Guy Byrne IV; his stepfather Shirley Hammac; and his son-in-law Thomas Guy Byrne III.
He is survived by: his children, John Terrell Perkins (Melba Jean) of Northport, AL, Joanne Perkins Bonds (Larry M.) of Atmore, AL and Janice Perkins Byrne of Stockton, AL; his stepchildren, Lane Mosley (Vernie) of Henderson, TN, Brady Mosley of Century, FL, Rose Anna Smith (Ray) of Camden, S. C., Enola Godwin (Dan) of Byrneville, FL, Amy Welch (Lanell) of Flomaton, AL and Myra Reid (Joe) of Byrneville, FL; and his grandchildren, Tina Walby (Wes), Tiffany Cierocke (Steven), Tierney Broadwater (Jason), Christopher Byrne (Mary), Nikki Lile (Terry), Katherine Byrne, Lori Rider (Wesley), Larry W. Bonds (Sherri), Stevie Bonds (Dixie) and Josh Bonds. He is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
