He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Cumbie and Joe Jeter; and his siblings, Danny Jeter, Edwin Jeter and Patsy Taylor.
He is survived by: his sons, Joey Jeter (Brandy) of Atmore, AL and Todd Jeter of Atmore, AL; his close friend Melissa Gorum of Atmore, AL; his sisters, Sherry Buckhault of Atmore, AL, Cheryl Matthews (Joe) of Repton, AL and Marilyn Peavy of Uriah, AL; his grandchildren, Blaine Jeter (Rachel), Sissy Jeter (Brett Gorum), Cole Sanspree and Nick Sanspree; and his great grandchildren, Braxton Jeter and Charlie Jeter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
