He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Lee of Washington and Mattie Reed Lee; his wife Margaret McCullough Lee; and his siblings, Mac Lee, Margaret "Sis" Lee and Billy Ray Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Malcolm "Sammy" Lee, Jr. of Atmore, AL, Scott Lee (Donna) of Atmore, AL, Lisa Lee Peacock (Mark) of Silverhill, AL and Teresa Lee Mauldin (Jim) of Loxley, AL. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
