It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley McGhee (Atmore, Alabama), who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Carol Ann McGhee; his parents, Willie Lee Martin (AD) and Shirley McGhee of Poarch, AL.; his brothers, Alex "Jody" Martin of Poarch, AL., Robert "Bobby" Martin of Atmore, AL. and Earl McGhee of Foley, AL.; and his grandchildren, Courtney and TyAnthony McGhee.
He is survived by: his wife Eldnar McGhee; his children, Stevie McGhee of Poarch, AL., Derrick McGhee of Poarch, AL., Kevin McGhee (Tawana) of Poarch, AL., Teresa Smith (Terry) of Poarch, AL. and Pamela Yates (Willie) of Flomaton, AL.; his nieces, Shirley "Pug" Roberson (Aubrey) of Poarch, AL. and Margaret Baggett (Ronnie) of Huxford, AL.; and his siblings, James Martin of Spanish Fort, AL., Phillip Martin (Donna) of Huxford, AL., Matt Martin (Denise) of Flomaton, AL., Randy Martin (Carrie) of Poarch, AL., Ellis Martin (Cindy) of Wetumpka, AL., Olivette McGhee of Poarch, AL., Patricia Ann Tew of Brundidge, AL. and Angela Devilbiss of Perdido, AL.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
