He is survived by: his wife Connie Scales of Duck Springs; his sons, Christopher Scales of Fort Payne and David Scales, Jr. of Fort Payne; his stepson Randall Bludsworth (Brittany) of Blountsville; and his brother Johnny Scales of Duck Springs.
