She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Johnston; her siblings, Linda Hyatt, Donnie McAvoy, David McAvoy and Dale McAvoy; and her sons, Davey and Scotty Houdeshell.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Johnston (Lee); her grandsons, Ethan and Landon Johnston; her nieces, Tina D. Smith and Kimberly Knowles (Dewayne); her sisters, Geraldine McNeill and Mary A. Davis (Johnnie Nance); and her siblings' children, Melissa McKay (Jerry) and David Beckenstein.
